Adult
Adult Faith Formation attends to our heart, our mind, & our soul. We are reminded that we are beloved children of God, who are encouraged to know, love, and serve Him better. Holy Trinity strives to provide some opportunities to help you on your journey.
Sacramental Preparation
If you are a baptized Catholic but perhaps are in need of the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation, we would be glad to walk the journey with you to full initiation in our Church. For special assistance in Sacramental inquiries or preparation, please contact the Holy Trinity Office at 255-3162 ext.128.
RCIA-Joining the Catholic Church?
Holy Trinity would be happy to take this faith journey with you as well as answer any questions you may have about joining the Catholic Church.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the way by which people become full members of the Roman Catholic Church. RCIA is a faith journey in which a person is introduced to the community, beliefs, liturgy, and the apostolic work of the Church. RCIA is designed for those seeking Baptism in our Church or a person wondering if they are called to join the Catholic Church. Also, it includes those Baptized Christians from other denominations that may be seeking membership in the Catholic Church. Baptized Catholics/Christians are also welcome in RCIA if they are seeking Confirmation, thus completing their initiation Sacraments.
The purpose of any process of Christian Initiation is to allow people the opportunity to deepen their encounter with Christ and the Catholic community. The process involves several aspects; Period of Inquiry, Period of Formation, Period of Sacramental Preparation, Sacraments of Initiation, and a Period of Growth and Reflection. Know that Holy Trinity Church welcomes you or if you have been away, welcomes you back to our Catholic Church. Please contact Doug Renze at dougr@holytrinitydm.org or call the Parish Office at 255-3162 ext. 128.
