June Blog | Moving Forward with Faith | By John Mertes

Progress. It’s all about moving forward. Driving toward something more than what might have been in the past. This year, that means the opportunity to offer your children MORE of the experiences they’ve grown to know and love with our annual Vacation Bible School. We are thrilled to announce that we are able to go back to an IN PERSON event!

This is a week dedicated to one main focus: sharing with children how Jesus is here for them. Always. No doubt the games and activities and skits are a lot of fun. But the joy of youth and community coming together to celebrate our Lord is what really drives everything.

Why is Vacation Bible School more important than ever? This week helps create memories that instill truths from the Bible in a child’s heart and mind for a lifetime. When we connect with your kids through this ministry, the biblical truths that permeate all aspects of the week bring each participant closer to their church and God. This is a wonderful opportunity for your kids to socialize and learn more about religion in a relaxed and fun-filled setting. There is something for everyone, despite each person’s religious views.

Would you or your older student like to attend VBS with your child? Volunteers are always welcome! You can help with snacks, crafts, childcare, registration, setting up, breaking down, storytelling, coordinating other volunteers and more. If you prefer a hands-off approach, we also accept donations of items for some of our crafts, decorations or activities.

We will be offering VBS this year from July 26 to July 30.
