Walkathon 2023 – Imagination at Play

Mark your calendars! Holy Trinity students and families are invited to our traditional neighborhood walk, carnival, and meet-and-greet celebration on Friday, October 7, 2023!

Walkathon is Holy Trinity Catholic School’s second largest fundraiser after the Gala Auction. As in prior years, donations go directly to tangible items that advance our kiddos’ learning and enhance their educational environment. Our theme in 2023 is Imagination at Play, where we will designate donations towards a new playground!

Walkathon 2022 – Reinforce Our Roots was the best year yet for Walkathon, with more than $40,000 pledged by families, parishioners, neighbors, corporate matches, and local businesses. All money from 2022 will be combined with what we raise in 2023 to go towards new playground equipment and outdoor activities.

Schedule of Events

Pep Rally  |  Friday, September 29

  • Students end their school day with an eruption of fun. Last year we threw pies at our favorite faculty and staff members. Will history repeat itself? Get excited!
Spirit Week  |  Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6

  • Students and staff dress up for Pajama Day (Monday), Career Day (Tuesday), Mismatch Day (Wednesday), Color Day (Thursday), and Spirit Day (Friday) to prepare for the main event!
  • Cash & Coin Collection Challenge: Last year the early education classes were the top coin challenge contributors, bringing in an additional $4,500!

Walkathon 2023 – Imagination at Play  |  Saturday, October 7

  • Attend 4:30 p.m. Mass, then gather in the Holy Trinity parking lot for a mile-long walk through the community, ending with a carnival at the school and dinner. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to participate in the fun!

New this year: Online Pledges!

Parents and guardians will receive direct links to the new pledge site starting Thursday, September 14. Students can share their personal links with friends and family to collect donations and track their contributions toward the overall total. We will send a link for each student (rather than each household), allowing competition and tracking across grade levels!

Did you know? Many companies match charitable school donations! This is an excellent way to boost your donation. Please email holytrinitywalkathon@gmail.com to provide matching donor information so we can associate the donation with you.
