Our dedicated and experienced faculty and staff encourage each child to develop their gifts and talents. All members of Holy Trinity Catholic School are challenged to become lifelong learners. This environment promotes each student’s feeling of self-worth and a willingness to love and care for others in the true spirit of God.
On September 10, 2008, US Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings named Holy Trinity Catholic School as a 2008 No Child Left Behind – Blue Ribbon School. The No Child Left Behind – Blue Ribbon School award distinguishes and honors schools for helping students achieve at very high levels and making significant progress in closing the achievement gap. The No Child Left Behind – Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools that are either academically superior or that demonstrate dramatic gains in the student achievements to high levels. The schools are selected based on one of two criteria:
Schools with at least 40% of their students from disadvantaged backgrounds that dramatically improve student performance to high levels on state tests; and
Schools whose students, regardless of background, achieve in the top 10% of their state on state tests, or in the case of private schools in the top 10% of the nationally-formed tests.
